Discover The Bayou Tour
Wednesday, May 16, 2018, 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM
is not Required
A conference in Thibodaux that have some interesting items open to the public (you don't have to register for the conference for anything except if you wanted to go to the tax credit seminar associated with the conference). There is a boat tour at 1:00 & 2:30 on Bayou LaFourche which includes (viewing from the water I believe) the E.D White Historic house and historic information about the area, that is only $5 per person, a traditional trades presentation from 1-4pm (free), and walking tours that day.
I am signing up for the boat tour at 1:30 pm (yes 1:30 not 1 pm info wrong below) on Wednesday the 16th and can add folks to my request. If I can get email responses or a head count at the meeting, I'll register on Thursday May 10th (there were a total of 40 spots, 20 for each time frame, now the website indicates 37 so should be no problem.)
We can leave from the Mall of LA (parking lot area behind Red Lobster) at 10am on the 16th and I'll find a place to eat lunch down there depending upon number of folks going. A 1.5 hr (ish) trip down, go to lunch, tour(s) then drive back on own or as a group. Contact Mark Bensen if you would like to go or have questions... firstname.lastname@example.org.
