  Lone Star Corvette Classic Weekend

   Texas Motor Speedway, 3545 Lone Star Cir, Fort Worth, TX       3 day event where participants have the opportunity to spend time with hundreds of other Corvette owners from a multi-state area, as well as have time to take their own car on the NASCAR track at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS). Our venue for the Classic is unique among car shows as we not only have access to a world class racing facility at TMS, but we also have a variety of activities spread over the 3 day period that offer opportunities beyond just a car show.

  Tri-City Corvette Show

  Parkdale Mall, 6155 Eastex Hwy., Beaumont, TX

  The show is SaturMany of us enjoy a caravan to the Beaumont, TX Tri-City Corvette show annually. We leave on Friday morning, May 20th. Meet and greet party Friday night at the host hotel given on the flyer, the car show is Saturday, May 21st. Some drive home after the show Saturday afternoon.  Many of us will spend Saturday night also for a fun after party. Always a fun group and spectacular Corvettes.

 Cars and Karts Show

  From 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM  

Rock Star Racing, 11855 Airline Highway, Baton Rouge, LA        $20 fee includes registration and 1 kart race. Car show, $1 raffles, awards, food and drinks available. $10 kart races. Put on by Southern Muscle Club.

   Back to the Beach Open Car Show

 From 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. 

Laketown, Lakefront Trail, Kenner, LA

$30 day of show. Top 100 Awards. Top 20 Corvettes. Usually a huge show, close to 300 vehicles in it.




ALL meetings are now located at the St. George's Fire Station on Airline Hwy.,  on 2nd   Wednesday of the month.  Next member's meeting June 8.


 Reminders will be sent out closer to each meeting date. 


 Same times, 6:30 PM for social time, 7:00 PM meeting

          We invite all Corvette owners to join our fun group of    
  members that share the passion for such an outstanding
  sports car.  We have monthly meetings, second Wednesday of
  each month except December.  We meet at the St. George     
  Fire Dept. conference room in Baton Rouge.  Details and the  
  application are included through the drop menu above so you
  can join the club. ALWAYS so many events to choose from. 
  Our club helps support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in
  Memphis as our cause.  We are a non-profit organization.

Special celebrity guests this year were from the TV Show "Killing Fields" on Discovery Channel ... Rodie Sanchez, Sheriff Brett Stassi and Aubrey St. Angelo.  They gave out autographs and helped with our trophy presentations.  Rodie had his '55 T-bird in the show.
